Indiana Senate Committee Votes to Advance Sunday Motorcycle SalesJANUARY 21, 2012 --- On Friday, January 20, the Senate Commerce and Economic Development Committee voted 7-0 to send Senate Bill 192 to the full Senate. Senator Ed Charbonneau, R-Valparaiso, authored the legislation allowing the sale of motorcycles on Sundays.
Legislation and ABATE Day UpdateJANUARY 12, 2012 --- There have been a lot of people at the Statehouse, but not a lot has been going on. With the inability to have a quorum in the House most of last week, very little business has taken place. A few bill lists were introduced when they convened briefly on Monday, so there were some committee hearings on Wednesday. The House Roads and Transportation Committee took testimony on HB1197 concerning "mopeds", but will not vote until next week. More
